In short: LM Laboratory is local-first and does not include advertising, tracking, or a developer-hosted chat or image backend.

Data on your device

The app may store configured provider endpoints, model records, chats, messages, personas, teams, settings, run metadata, and file references in local app storage. Generated image files are stored on disk. Provider credentials and tokens are stored in the system Keychain.

Network requests

Requests go directly to providers or endpoints you configure, including local-network or Tailscale services. If you choose Tailscale account discovery, authentication and device-list requests go to Tailscale. Prompts, messages, settings, and attachments required for a chosen workflow may be sent to that selected provider, which handles them under its own terms.

Developer collection

LM Laboratory does not route provider traffic through a developer-operated backend and does not include third-party analytics, advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs.

Deletion

Delete saved content using available in-app controls. Removing the app removes app-local data managed by the operating system; provider-side data remains subject to that provider's policies.
