ENGINEERING LOG · CLEAN SWIFT REWRITE
Rebuild the company.
Keep the simulation honest.
Fabricon Aerospace is an architecture-first rewrite of the AeroTycoon game. Its current product is a tested core: value-safe money and time, actor-owned game state, a tick pipeline, financial events, loans, bankruptcy behavior, and the first working finance interface.
Repository access requires permission on GitHub.
THE BUILT SLICE
Small enough to inspect. Real enough to run.
The design library describes a complete tycoon game, but this checkout does not claim all of it. The implementation currently concentrates on deterministic state, time, finance, and a narrow root interface.
Clean Swift-style stores, interactors and presenters for root and finance.
Time advancement, ordered ticks, financial event processing and credit rules.
Core identifiers, money, dates, game state, loans and an actor-owned store.
REWRITE FLIGHT PLAN
The largest next step is a product decision.
The mature game continued moving after this rewrite paused. Before adding more systems, the repositories need a clear relationship and the rewrite’s task ledger needs to match the code already present.
Continue, converge, or archive
Choose whether this remains an independent Clean Swift rewrite, becomes an architecture laboratory for AeroTycoon, or stops in favor of the mature game.
OWNERSHIP · MIGRATION · SCOPEReconcile the task ledger
Update stale task status around the game store, time, tick, and finance work; then establish one authoritative next slice.
TASKS · SOURCE · VERIFICATIONConnect the playable spine
Finish coordinator and time ownership, persistence, and the campus shell before expanding program, market, production, research, or workforce systems.
COORDINATION · SAVE · CAMPUSEarn the wider design
Implement the remaining FADD systems as tested vertical slices. Multiplayer, flight test, RealityKit, and the full tycoon loop stay plans until code proves them.
